This blog documents Mark Peter Wright’s Leverhulme Artist-in-Residence process at Manchester Metropolitan University during 2017. The residency is situated across Education and Geography departments with Principle Investigator Dr. Michael Gallagher.
The blog functions as an unfolding of critical commentary and experimental ideas rather than a log of activities completed. The residency period is preoccupied with two distinct strands of research and artistic production. A third area, called Listening to Learning, is a more reflexive anecdotal strand, which endeavours to hear the process, methods and infrastructures involved in relation to listening and education.
